HOLMES, Vera Grace - At Joseph Brant Hospital on Saturday, January 11, 2003, Vera Grace Holmes (nee Ronald) beloved wife of the late Ross Holmes, in her 86th year. Dear mother of Mrs. Robert McFadden (Carole) of Binbrook, Mrs. Raffaele Rendina (Gloria) of Hamilton, and Kenneth and his wife Marg of Mount Forest. Dear sister of Doris Thompson of Woodstock and Bruce Ronald of Brantford. Predeceased by Gladys Gowan, Ivan and Jack Ronald. Dearly loved grandmother to Mark McFadden (Grace), Leann Lazarevic (Vojin), Tricia Walsh (Chris), Angela and Elizabeth Rendina, Justin Holmes (Nicole) and Christina Megginson (Kyle). Also survived by eight great-grandchildren, Paige, Myles, Caitlin, Harley, Katanna, Marcus, Thomas, and Shawna. Friends may call at the KITCHING - STEEPE FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill Street North, Waterdown, on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Interment in Carlisle Cemetery. Vera enjoyed a very active life with her family and friends in the Waterdown community, and the Village Manor, her recent home. Donations to the charity of your choice or St. James United Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
